I have purchased New Balance tennis shoes for more years than I care to think about (I'm 77) and this is the first time that I have been disappointed. The shoes fit correctly after I get my feet into the shoes. The shoes have a "tongue" that is actually part of the body of the shoe not a free moving tongue. It is so hard to get the shoe on that I bend down the heel when I go to put the shoe on. I can see that these shoes are not going to last very long. When I got these shoes I should have returned them but I thought I would give them a try--my mistake.
