A leather sole offers smooth moves in this polished find. Founded in 2000, Coclico (French for "poppy flower") is the creation of a French expatriate living in the United States. Sandra Canselier grew up in Brittany, France, where her family has been making shoes for three generations. It was only natural that her background and her love for New York would lead her to start her own line and open her first store/showroom in Nolita. Coclico is inspired by the increasingly important notion that we are all linked. The designer believes that each of our actions have effects beyond what we've previously understood. Coclico shoes feature beautiful, hand-finished vegetable tanned leathers processed with clean and modern techniques. The shoe is beautiful out of the box but the sizing is at Most the smallest sizing indicated .40 is suppose to be a US 10 ( & my collection is all 10s from multiple makers )At Most this 40 is a US 9.5 and probably closer to a 9 & should be labeled 39 to 39.5 Euro / 9 to 9.5 USNeither the length nor the fit around the front would ever accommodate a 10 .I suppose it could be stretched but shoes over $300 should be ready to wear , Not have to be stretched .As the appearance of the shoe was nice , I really wish they had made a true 40 Euro / 10 USA .
