These boots are warm and comfortable and shed the snow right off. I have at least 5 or 6 pairs of Alegrias for different seasons and I am very happy I purchased these. I got a chance to wear them with our last snow storm. I had to stop on the side of the road the other day to help someone who was stuck during a previous storm. I was wearing my Chris Alegrias and my feet were super cold after a 1/2 hour. I wish I was wearing these because they would have kept my toes toasty.These Nanooks are very stylish and the snowflake buttons look even nicer in person than they do in the picture. These were the least expensive Nanooks but I feel that they were the nicest after I received them. I feel that these boots are true to size and I am thrilled that the footbed is removeable (as with most of the Alegria footwear) if you want to air them out or need to replace them in the future. They are cute and fashionable and keep you warm and cozy. So glad I purchased them and I recommend them for extreme winter wear. The only thing I would change is the height because more height would be better, but they are still a very nice pair of boots.
