These shoes were pretty comfortable, but I ended up not liking the look of them, among other issues. The shoes were pretty inflexible. When I'd walk and tip my foot forward, the shoe would just kind of flip forward since it is very inflexible, it was pretty strange. I'd end up clopping around like a horse when wearing them. The strap was pretty tight, since it's not actually really around the ankle - more like the top of my foot. Fit kind of weird. I have skinny ankles, too. I liked the look of them from the top, but not from any other angle. They just kind of looked a little young, like prom shoes. Not for me, but I wouldn't not recommend them, either.
