The Mephisto Sam sandals have been an excellent purchase. Although they are not cheap, I believe they are worth every penny. Sizing is true to size, the straps provide a perfect fit and excellent support, and the comfort is just great with well-cushioned soles that absorb shocks perfectly. I've worn my previous pair for years, and wear these day in day out for about 4 miles everyday, with and without socks.
