I purchased this item for my daughter, including the over $50.00 shipping. I received it and tried to put it together but the bed was knowingly defective. Im including a picture. I reached out to the vendor, who demanded a photo, essentially calling me a liar, instead of offering to replace the defective BED. BE WARNED, GUYS. PLEASE PLEASE BUYER BEWARE.Update: The vender finally responded to me and where they didn't offer to make it "right," they did refund my full purchase price plus the hefty shipping fee. Just a note that the vender called me yesterday, agreeing to my refund and told me to go ahead and keep the defective bed (which I cannot use but the price of shipping probably had something to do with it). However, the vender kept telling me to remove my review, stating it will negatively affect their store. I altered my ONE star rating to a THREE star rating, because they refunded my full purchase price. But I bought this bed in good faith. I paid for it up front. The vendor was extremely offended at my honest review so I'm still saying, buyer...beware.Excellent purchase for the price. Seems pretty sturdy and fairly easy to assemble. The directions aren’t great but if you’ve ever built anything it’s easy to figure out. One minor scratch on the frame but nothing noticeable. Super satisfied for the price.Disappointed with this product. The assembly was an utter disaster. I had to create or widen several screw holes. Not enough hardware was included, so I had to go to the hardware store in the middle of construction. One of the wood panels was scratched on arrival. The backboard is barely tall enough to see any of the wood detail if you have pillows on your bed (which who doesn’t). I’ve already had to tighten screws for the headboard, and I’ve had the bed only 2 months. It’s an attractive looking bed frame, and it’s high enough for good under-the-bed storage, but that’s about it. Would not recommend.Nice looking bedThe bed looks very nice and is sturdy. Assembly was not complicated in general but some screws didn’t fit in well so we had to skip some parts but it didn’t affect the use of the bed.Beautiful and sturdy! Just like the pics.
