I bought these shoes because I was looking for a comfortable heeled shoe, and platforms are the most comfortable for me...though very hard to find the kind I like. I was not disappointed with the Tsubo's...these shoes are REALLY comfortable! Nice cushy, padded foot bed, and I like that my foot is not at at an angle. I have foot and ankle problems and can no longer where a traditional high heel. The platforms on these are perfect- I get some height without sacrificing comfort. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars, is that the base is not quite as wide as I would like...a little on the more narrow side so less stable than I would prefer. But that is just me. Someone used to walking on stiletto's could probably run a marathon in these shoes!I love all things Tsubo. These were perfect shoes for traveling and walking-- nice stable platform, no blisters. The only issue is that my feet run medium to narrow, and these seem to run medium to wide-ish, and I turned my ankle in them a couple of times while walking uphill. Truth be told, I'm pretty clumsy, so maybe you won't have an issue with that. I love all my other Tsubo shoes-- stylish and comfortable and EVERYONE asks me about them.This was a new "brand" for me to try. It's a lot nicer looking than the picture suggests. Platforms are always more comfortable to me than high-heels and so I expected it. I was afraid they might be too tight across the top of the foot although they certainly didn't look like they'd be and they were not - BUT, they are a little more than too loose. I am using a clear comfortable insole to keep them a little tighter so they won't cause a callous or sore. It works for me.TSUBO makes a very good shoe. But they do not come in half sizes, so you have to guess. Usually, I go up to the next whole size. In this case, should have gone down. I purchased another style in the 1/2-size-down and it worked.So comfortableBeautiful and comfortable. The shoe has a cushioned footbed and even though it has a nice size platform, you feel very well balanced. They are great shoes.gets no stars. Color is not black as pictured but navy...also the area the foot rests on is beige and looks awful.Excellent product.
