Reading the instructions was A little difficult to assembleThe bed is more blush than pink. Not as vibrant as the one in the product listing. Thats the only knock on the bedframe.Very easy to put everything together. Directions are adequate if you have done it before. Just pay attention to the pictures. Feels sturdy. Looks great and kiddo is excited for it.I didn't like that it broke 2 months into owning it.We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the box to see how well made the headboard was and the quality and color of the fabric. It’s like the perfect grey linen material and padded. The pieces to put the bed together were zipped up behind the headboard. We were looking for a more modern platform bed for my three year old and this couldn’t be more perfect for him.For the mattress we started with a 8in spring mattress which is in the second photo bc I wanted to be able to see more of the headboard but we quickly noticed a gap on the sides and it was just a inch above the headboard gap so the first night I noticed when you would lay down it would go under the headboard. When you put the bedding and comforter you couldn’t tell see the gaps. I then purchased a zinus 10 inch green tea memory foam mattress in the third photo and it’s perfect! It fits right up to the edges of the frame on all sides and sits slightly higher so the mattress doesn’t go below the headboard when you lay down and you can still see plenty of the headboard if you like to decorate with pillows.Overall we’re very happy with this full size bed and it’s such a great value. Hope the photos help if you’re trying to decide on the bed :)The yellow color is more of a banana color fyi. It was pretty easy to put together and has held up nicely the last few weeks. I do regret not reading the reviews more thoroughly because I would not have bought it had I known the actual color.There was a slight smell when I opened it but I just put it together with my window open and it was fine. As far as structure and sturdiness I am happy with it.This bed is worth the $$. I have purchased beds in the past and spent double the $$ but was sadly disappointed. This bed more than met our expectations and we are so pleased with the final product. The assembly instructions were thorough and easy to follow. The one thing I would suggest is that you look carefully at the illustrations and placement of slats and base for slats. Take your time with this part. Other than that the assembly of the bed was pretty straightforward.I mean it’s really, really yellow. The product picture is a little deceiving… but it still works in my room so oh well.It looks beautiful but it broke in less than 2 months
